This is an older video with the computer aided graphics. It's one of my favorite videos ever. Be sure and turn up the volume.
I call this blog "Wilderness Girl", because like Moses, I feel it is my destiny to wander through the wilderness for 40 years until I have learned the lessons I need. Only then will I be allowed to settle down and apply them... . .

- I am complex, yet simple. I am hearty and frail. I am selfish and generous. I let my emotions prevail. I want to make some sense of it. Of Life, and Love, and God. I want to bring back the simple things. I know that makes me odd. But if you'll stay and read awhile maybe you'll start to see. Then maybe I can share with you a little part of me. MsAmber

Lula,
Thank you. I've been an admirer of yours for quite a while.
I am the product of a very disfunctional childhood also. I will enjoy watching you rise up and grab that golden ring.
Your future is absolutely in your hands. It helps to have someone who gives a damn about you to push you to realize your potential.
Scrape the doo-doo off your shoes and keep on walking.
(That's a personal favorite quote)
I'll be watching and reading.
Your admirer,

I am tech support for a medical office software now.
I spent 9 years in the field as a technician. I am a RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer). I worked on copper, fiber, radio. I programmed phone systems, ran phone and network cabling, and terminated/tested/certified fiber optic cabling.
I had to get out of the field because I needed surgery and my recovery time would keep me out too long. Now, I support software. I needed the PC experience anyway. I did a lot of hardware out in the field, but I didn't have the all-important certificates. Now I have time to get all the pretty little certs.
Besides, now I get to wear dresses and heels every day instead of workboots and carharts. Some people hadn't realized I had legs before. I still get calls from customers wanting me to do some work for them, just last weekend I went and installed two intercom systems. I emailed them which valcom speakers and power-supplies to get, and where to get them. Saturday morning I went over there and ran two cables, hooked it all up, and programmed their phones with an external page button. I was done in less than two hours. I traded the customer for 6 hours of Terminal Server tutoring. Nice trade, huh?
Anyway. I talk too much about my work. You'd think I liked it or something.

Wow! You have a lot of talents of your own - I'm " mentally challenged" when
it comes to anything the least bit technical.lol( I'm trying to be pc and not use the word retarded)
It's funny, because I've always envied people that can do those sorts of things, my Dad was an electrician and that stuff's over my head.Makes me feel dumb.
I thought this was interesting, I liked learning more about you. :)
